Biography

Dustin graduated from Unity College in 2008, where he earned a B.S. in Wildlife. As a research biologist with Biodiversity Research Institute (BRI) since 2007, he has participated in a wide variety of studies in which he has worked alongside state and federal agencies to determine contaminant exposure levels and effects in several species of wildlife. His research experience includes common loon monitoring and banding, Hg sampling of various bat species, small mammal and furbearer trapping, radio-tracking and Hg sampling of mallards, and avian influenza screening of sea ducks.

Research Interests

His interests include contaminant exposure and effects on waterfowl, bats, and furbearers. He is also interested in mercury contamination and its effects on species in the marine environment.
