Biography
Oksana is the director of the Wetland Bird Program, and the director of the freshwater component of the Fish Program.
Research Interests:
Assessing contaminant exposure and effects in fresh and saltwater wetlands and estuaries worldwide. Monitoring contaminants in lakes, rivers and estuaries using fish and other organisms as bioindicators.

- Various shorebirds and wading birds
- Blackbirds
- Freshwater Fish and invertebrates
Future goals:
Expand geographic range to include other continents.
