Sarah received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southern Maine in December of 2007. While there she focused on vertebrate behavior and physiology, as well as minoring in chemistry and biochemistry. She has always had a strong interest in avian health and behavior, which has led to her desire to become an Avian Veterinarian. She came to BioDiversity Research Institute after taking a summer ornithology class with Dr. Evers. At BRI, she acts as coordinator of all things website related, as well as working with other outreach initiatives.
