Biography

Tim Divoll is a field biologist who has been working at BioDiversity Research Institute since 2006. He has worked primarily with the mammal and waterfowl programs, and has had extensive experience in tracking and trapping study animals. Currently Tim is embarking on a two month volunteer project with the Wildlife Conservation Agency in Punta Gorda, Belize, where he will be studying mercury concentrations in sharks, barracuda and grouper, and educating locals about the severity of the shark-fin market. Tim received a bachelor's degree in biology from Worcester State College in Massachusetts.

Research Interests

Shark Conservation, with respect to both contaminants and finning, as well as bat ecology.
