Join BRI and Sailing Ships Maine on a three-day birdwatching tour aboard the Harvey Gamage (pictured left). The cruise will depart from Rockland, Maine on August 24th and return to Rockland on August 26th. While on the cruise we expect to see a variety of coastal and marine birds as well as other wildlife.

Cost for this all-inclusive, three-day cruise is just $495 per adult. Proceeds from the cruise will go to support BRI's wildlife research.

Lucas Savoy earned his B.S. in environmental studies (wildlife biology and management) from Unity College. He joined BRI in 2000 as a wildlife research biologist. Early in his career, he focused primarily on Common Loon contaminant and breeding ecology field studies across North America, while also developing an interest in waterfowl conservation. He is currently the director of the waterfowl program and has focused his research on numerous species of waterfowl. He is also the acting director for BRI's loon program.

Deb joined BRI in early 2011 to develop the Institute’s communications program. Over the course of her tenure at BRI, she has created unique opportunities for the general public to explore the world of wildlife through creative avenues including writing, photography, and art.
