Newfoundland Lakes Survey

Project Objectives and Location:

Environment Canada has collected surface water mercury concentration data over the last five years. As part of our precipitation monitoring program, we have collected over one hundred samples in lakes throughout the Atlantic region. The sites were selected to represent acidification - sensitive areas, as we represent areas containing high abundances of lakes.
