BRI Events, Excursions, Calendar: When and where to find us

We offer a myriad of ways to engage with our mission and learn about work. BRI’s annual Spotlight on Ecoscience features a presentation by a world-renowned scientist to help bring Maine’s citizen’s and students to the scientific forefront of an issue that we are addressing.

Join us this November 9, 2011 for BRI’s Spotlight on Ecoscience when we host European researcher Dr. Tony Fox of the National Environmental Research Institute in Denmark to present about effects to wildlife from offshore wind energy development in Europe.

Previous Spotlight on Ecoscience speakers include Dr. Ian Newton, Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, Natural Environment Research Council (2009), and Dr. Thomas Kunz, Boston University (2010).
