Terrestrial Ecology

The terrestrial ecology division supports programs investigating human induced environmental stressors in Central and North America. Current efforts characterize and monitor: environmental contaminant loads; toxicity of contaminants towards ecological and human health; wildlife diseases (e.g. avian influenza); and potential impacts of wind farms on wildlife.
