LoonCam

This wildlife webcam follows the nesting behaviors of a pair of loons that nest on an island in mid-coast Maine. The adults were first banded in 2001, and have returned to breed every year, since. When the video is live, and the loons are active, viewers should be able to see the brightly colored leg bands that we use to identify individual loons. Also, during the breeding season, follow the latest about the loons on our loon blog, written by an expert BRI biologist, and join us on twitter for updates.
